Naga Chaitanya to Remake 'Majnu'?

Is Naga Chaitanya starring in Majnuremake? Director Venu Sriram who shot to fame with O My Friend is trying to remake this cult Telugu classic starring AkkineniNagarjuna and Rajini in the lead roles. It was a big musical hit in the year 1987 directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

Majnu helped a lot to Nagaruja when he was a rising star and it had become a much need hit for him at that time and now Nagachaitanya is also on the same position. Right now Naga Chaitanya has been focusing on doing mass masala movies and action based films.We have to see if the rising star is ready to take up a character that needs him to don a failure lover.

It is heard that director Venu Sriram working on the modification to the original as per the latest trend. If every thing gone well and the team has got a conclusion means an official announcement will be announced. Keep watching this page for latest updates. 

Devi Sri Prasad to score music for Nag's Bhai

Devi Sri Prasad had been roped in to render music for Nagarjuna's upcoming movie 'Bhai'. Devi Sri Prasad had earlier delivered chartbuster audios to Nagarjuna like Manmadhudu, Mass and King. And fans will be expecting nothing less from this new project.

Richa Gangopadhyay and Adah Sharma are in consideration for the female leads in the movie. Nagarjuna is very excited about his upcoming project 'Bhai'. He is so impressed with the script narrated by Poolarangadu fame Veerabhadram Chowdary that he himself will be producing the movie under his Annapurna studios banner. The movie will go on to sets from September.

Balayya, Nag, Mahesh - Who Is Best?

An interesting discussion is going on in Film Circuits regarding some awards that were given recently. The core question is that who is the best among Balayya, Nag and Mahesh Babu.

Last time at MAA Awards and now at SIIMA, Mahesh Babu is adjudged the best actor for his performance in 'Dookudu'. But the fans of other actors in the list like Balayya and Nagarjuna are quite unhappy with these results. They feel that Balayya in 'Srirama Rajyam' and Nagarjuna in 'Rajanna' have done hair rising acts but were ignored blatantly. This led to a heated debate between the fans of these star heroes.

Critics feel that Balayya and Nag have succeeded in historical roles only by portraying typical emotion. They are never like Ramudu and Rajanna, but resembled only Balayya and Nagarjuna giving heroic feel to characters. Also these two flicks failed to entertain audiences with their slow place. We cannot demand an award as these films deal with sentimental subjects. Movie is a movie and it is a business.

Coming to Mahesh, his 'Dookudu' has stormed the audience with a superb feel. The actor tried to portray many emotions even though he is lesser experienced than the above senior heroes. His action, dialogue delivery, comedy timing, romance, fights and even dances, stood a class apart.
