Naga Chaitanya to Remake 'Majnu'?

Is Naga Chaitanya starring in Majnuremake? Director Venu Sriram who shot to fame with O My Friend is trying to remake this cult Telugu classic starring AkkineniNagarjuna and Rajini in the lead roles. It was a big musical hit in the year 1987 directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

Majnu helped a lot to Nagaruja when he was a rising star and it had become a much need hit for him at that time and now Nagachaitanya is also on the same position. Right now Naga Chaitanya has been focusing on doing mass masala movies and action based films.We have to see if the rising star is ready to take up a character that needs him to don a failure lover.

It is heard that director Venu Sriram working on the modification to the original as per the latest trend. If every thing gone well and the team has got a conclusion means an official announcement will be announced. Keep watching this page for latest updates. 

Allari Naresh this time 'Dorakadu'

We already reported that Sudden Star Allari Naresh is doing a new film under G Nageswara Reddy direction soon. Now the news is that 'Dorakadu' is the title under consideration for this movie as per the inner talks from the production house.The makers of the film didn’t announce the title yet and this movie is touted to be a full length comedy entertainer.

The movie will start  its shooting in the month of October, mean while director and his team are aiming for a perfect script under the premises of  Naresh's image. G.Nageswara Reddy is directing Naresh for the third time after Seema Shastri and Seema Tapakaya. Heroine,other cast and crew are not yet finalized.

Ammiraju Kanumilli, who is a personal manager to Naresh is producing this movie on Siri Cinema banner. More details about the movie will be announced soon. 

Ram Charan goes off Twitter

Tollywood superstar Ram Charan has deactivated his Twitter account. This has shocked his fans and well wishers. Staying in touch with fans and media through social networking websites is the best way to communicate for the stars.

Charan who has more than 2 lakh followers on Twitter has deleted his account all of a sudden. Although he isn’t active all the time, he constantly tweets from his account on various topics. The reasons for his decision to go offline are yet to be known.

Sources close to him say that he is too busy to tweet now and hence decided to deactivate the account for few months to concentrate on work. He will come back online soon, they told. Hope so!

Raghu Kunche’s music for Allu Arjun, Puri film

Singer turned music composer Raghu Kunche has struck gold with Devudu Chesina Manushulu. This film launched him in the bigger league of music directors and he has played it safe by composing mass friendly tunes for DCM.

The audio of DCM, which was out in the market, has been making good buzz with masses liking the songs. Subbalakshmi and Disturb Chestunnade songs are topping the charts. With this Puri Jagannadh is giving another big film for Raghu Kunche.

He will score music for Puri Jagannadh’s next film with Allu Arjun. Earlier Puri used to have Chakri as music composer for most of his films. Apparently he has fallen in love with Raghu Kunche’s music. 

Samantha set to make Bollywood debut?

Samantha has been losing few films in the process of gaining stardom. She has lostMani Ratnam and Shankar’s films as she is currently very busy. However, she need not worry too much as the offers are floating in.

Samantha is likely to make Bollywood debut soon says the buzz. Prabhu Deva, who has recently delivered a big hit with Rowdy Rathore is planning to remakeNuvvostanante Nenoddantana in Hindi.Samantha is in consideration for the female lead in it.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. Neither the project nor Samantha’s role in the film are confirmed. If it happens Samantha should consider herself lucky as the female lead in this film is a very promising one. Trisha has won accolades for her portrayal of that role in the original. 

Devi Sri Prasad to score music for Nag's Bhai

Devi Sri Prasad had been roped in to render music for Nagarjuna's upcoming movie 'Bhai'. Devi Sri Prasad had earlier delivered chartbuster audios to Nagarjuna like Manmadhudu, Mass and King. And fans will be expecting nothing less from this new project.

Richa Gangopadhyay and Adah Sharma are in consideration for the female leads in the movie. Nagarjuna is very excited about his upcoming project 'Bhai'. He is so impressed with the script narrated by Poolarangadu fame Veerabhadram Chowdary that he himself will be producing the movie under his Annapurna studios banner. The movie will go on to sets from September.

Charan-Upasana to Start New Business !

The grand gala wedding of Ram Charan with his ladylove Upasna is complete and the couple also went for a short honeymoon. Now, everyone is back to work and here is an update. It is heard that the newly-weds have decided to come up with a new Business venture and here are the details.

It is heard that Cherry and Upsi would be starting a fitness center and gymnasium and this would be in the premises of the Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills. Sources say the construction work is already on and this would be fitted with state of the art equipment.

Efforts are on to get the best trainers of the city, as per sources. Already, both Charan and Upasna have bought the RC Polo Club.  And they are eagerly waiting to launch this new centre. On work front, Charan is busy with the shooting of his film ‘Yevadu’ and his Bollywood venture ‘Zanjeer’.

Chinese Stunt Masters for Raavana !

Manchu Vishnu's mythological movie, Raavana is growing bigger and bigger. Themovie reportedly have some mind-blowing action sequences which will be composed by Chinese stunt masters. Vishnu is leaving to China to rope in technical talent for the film, to be directed by K Raghavendra Rao.

Ravana is a retelling of the Epic from Ravana's view point and Vishnu Manchu is producing the film under his 24 Frames Entertainment banner. The story and screenplay is being penned by Bharavi and the film has few special erected.

Naan Ee Promotion in Tamil Nadu catches eyeballs

SS Rajamouli's Eega is simultaneously releasing in Tamil as Naan Ee.PVP Cinema has bought the Tamil version and releasing it with 200 prints on 6 July all over in Tamil Nadu. Naan Ee has created tremendous buzz in Tamilnadu. Thanks to some innovative promotional activities along with the regular promotion. Here are some of those.

1. The makers had heavily advertised on Puthiya Thalaimurai (SRM group) TV channel. It is the number one channel among the upcoming TV channels and it worked big time for the movie.

2. The makers have printed 1.3 millions tickets containing Naan Ee for Tamilnadu transport corporation limited. These tickets had fetched excellent visibility for a reasonable cost using this technique.

3. 10,000 pieces of school kids merchandise (scale, bookmark, year planner and book labels) were distibuted to students of 35 schools (5 schools each in 7 cities) and distributed it to students.

4. PVP cinemas, the makers of Naan Ee is the major sponsor for the an yearly theater festival for kids that is organized by ‘The Little Theater’ (20 years old) which is very popular among the kids.

5. The makers are planning to send 6 crores of sms on 5,6 and 7 of July. It will contain a few jokes between two characters - Bindu (played by Samantha) and Pootu Kovindam (Santhanam). A promotional message about Naan Ee will be carried after the joke.

6. The makers have also heavily advertised on Arasu Cable which is owned by Government. It has a basket of 95 channels.

Siddhartha Samantha movie Latest Updates

Southern Stud Siddharth’s new film in the direction of Nandini Reddy, which was launched in February, has wrapped up a couple of shedules earlier.

The next shedule is set to commence in July month and major part of the shooting of this romantic entertainer will be shot in Hyderabad. Sidddharth for the first time is romancing crazy actress Samantha in the film and moviegoers opine that the duo make a good onscreen couple.

Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions and Thaman is composing the music. There is a buzz that Nithya Menon is doing a cameo role in the film. The untitled movie is set for a November release.

Puri's costly gift to Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu item girl

Our readers are well aware that Puri Jagannath had roped in British model and actress, Scarlett Wilson for an item song in Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movie, Cameraman Ganagatho Rambabu. The shooting of the song was wrapped up in Saradhi studios. The song composed by Mani Sharma is set to be a highlight of the film. Puri had gifted an Iphone 4S to Scarlett Wilson on the Last day shoot.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu is reportedly a satire on media. The movie is produced by DVV Danayya under Universal media banner. Mani Sharma is the music director.

Amy Jackson has been roped in as heroine in director Shankar's upcoming movie which is tenatively titled 'I'. National award winning actor Vikram will be seen in the lead. Vikram and Shankar had earlier worked for 'Aparichitudu'. Makers were in talks with Samantha to do the lead role opposite to Vikram, but She has opted out of the project due to health issues. Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi will be seen in a pivotal role and PC Sriram is the cinematographer. Aascar Ravichandran is producing this movie and AR Rahman is the music director.

Jayaprada Plans Ishq Remake in Tamil

Veteran actress Jayaprada is planning to remake Nitin-Nithya Menon's super hit movie 'Ishq' in Tamil. Reports say that Jayaprada is keen to rope in her nephew Siddharth as hero in Ishq Tamil remake. Nitin starer Ishq is a commercial success and has put the actor back on the track. The buzz is that Nithya Menon is likely to act as female lead in this film as well. Ram Charan Goes Shirtless for Zanjeer

Mega Power Star Ram Charan who is riding high post 'Racha' success has decided to go shirtless for an action sequence in his Bollywood debut movie 'Zanjeer' directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Apparently, Charan will rip off his shirt for a 7 minute fight sequence with Arjun Rampal, who plays the role of Pathan Sher Khan. That's not all, Charan will also be seen sporting a police hair cut in Zanjeer. Also, he will continue this look in his new movie 'Yevadu' directed by Vamsi Paidipalli.
